<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Passover can only be meaningful if a memorial of the deliverance from Egypt was enacted. God willing to keep His covenant with His people and for posterity He required that the children of Moses keep a memorial of their deliverance from Egypt as in Exodus 12:14.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">God also willing to keep the immutability of His counsel in our deliverance has in our Christian faith enacted two ordinances in respect of our redemption. The two ordinances or memorial given to us are:</span></p>
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The water baptism</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The Lord’s Super or communion</span></li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">These ordinances need to be observed by every believer in Christ Jesus. The Baptism indicates our act of identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection unto newness of life &#8211; </span><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">Romans 6:1-14.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">The Lord’s Supper signifies a continual reminder of the efficacy of the shed blood and broken body of Christ in our redemption and in the wholeness of the body of Christ in Christ Jesus. Hence we are asked to discern the body and examine ourselves </span><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">– 1 Cor. 11:17-34; 10:1-22; John 6:22-65; Luke 22:1-20.</span></strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;"> Upon these the faith covenant is enacted, insured and assured. Hence, we are all commanded and called to partake in the communion of the Lord’s blood and body through discerning the body ministry in Christ less it becomes a mere religious duty with no definite impart upon our life for the good of true services to God in Christ Jesus. Hence many are sick in faith and body today in spite of partaking in the Lord’s Table.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">When you come to actualise the essence of </span><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">Romans 6:1-4</span></strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;"> as regards to baptism, you can then live in the abundant grace of God’s freedom and newness of life. This we need to live and enjoy in the Lord. In Baptism death is the mark of baptism, while the burial and resurrection ushers us into a new life of victory over sinful living and the habits that accompany it. A believer that is not living above the knowledge of sin and sinful habits is merely observing the funeral without the actual death to sin that is easily besetting such and the need to live a resurrection life as a new creation in Christ Jesus </span><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">– Hebrews 6:1-2; 12:1-2</span></strong><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: Verdana;">. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Christmas 2008 Edition</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Thanks to God for Christmas, for the smiles it brings on peoples faces during this season. Looking through the happenings in the world today – a time of mans ‘great’ invention and discovery, economic empowering of man – has given us neither peace nor harmony but trauma in all human phases of existence. Today, killings and wars go on our streets, uncertainties in our nations, our world with political and economic instability, family breakdown, relational unfaithfulness, generational decadence, business and career setbacks etc. just to name a few. All this being is in pursuit of answers to human problems. Our world cries with great thirst and hunger, seeking for who will quench her yearnings, desires and aspirations. This is the reason that <strong>Christmas</strong> – <em>a yearly celebrating of the birth of Christ</em> &#8211; is vital to all mankind irrespective of religious beliefs, race or generation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Christmas may be sectioned in this wise: ‘<strong>CHRIST’</strong> – meaning the <em>anointed One, the Messiah, the Saviour</em>. <strong>MAS from ‘MASS’</strong> – is the <em>yearly Celebration of the birth of Christ with a grace or benediction of the triune God</em>. <strong>2Cor.13:14 </strong><em>“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen”</em></span></p>

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: <strong>Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:</strong> and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world’’</span></em></span></p>

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">As I skip through the various news channels on TV, radio stations, make and receive phone calls, go through the world wide web, drive though the streets in town – the jingling one hears is of the Christmas news and events. People of all nations are buying, selling, making or marking an event to make this Christmas worth celebrating.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">However there are other opinions about Christmas, Some say that it’s a heathen day, a pagan holiday indicating that December 25th is not the day on which Christ was born but in October, however with no date to it. According to some it is for pagans and satan due to the glamorous events and activities that are now associated to this date. Just because the enemy perverts and distorts the meaning and essence of the celebrating of Christmas, does not mean that we should let go of that which we believe is of God.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">For me and every supposed spirit born child of God, what is vital in the whole scenario of indifference is that Christ was born in the flesh – humanity. The scripture in <strong>1 John 4:1 –3 and 1 John 5:7-12</strong> says that any person or people who do not acclaim that Christ was born in the flesh are the antichrist. <strong><em>Christ means the Messiah, the Saviour, the anointed one while ‘anti’ means to be against</em></strong>. This indicates that such a person does not believe in Christ’s virgin and humanity birth and as such becomes an enemy of JEHOVAH God. It’s also proof that such a person or group of persons have undermined the record and prophesy spoken of God in time prior to Christ’s birth as in the holy write. Such an individual or group, the Holy Scripture calls a fool. <strong>(Psalms 14:1; Isaiah 53:1)</strong></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">To celebrate means to observe in a special way, to praise honour solemnise, worship and to make merriments of great joy. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Celebrating the birth of Christ is the most awesome event any creation of God should count a privilege to partake in – not only in this season of life but a daily experience. When you come to know the significance of His birth and what it has brought to you as an individual you will desire to have Him born in your heart and not just in the world. You will be compelled to seek after Him, to worship, honour and celebrate him like the three wise men from the east according to the scriptures <strong>- Matt 2:1–12; Luke 2:1-20</strong>.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Let us celebrate him for he is born indeed; He is indeed born in our hearts and in our being. His birth is the rebirth of: </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">In Christmas season, people make that special journey to see their loved ones &#8211; friends and family. Some change their residential environment, move or buy a property, change a wardrobe, furniture, house curtains, and electronics and with some theirs is to make some outstanding decorations and paintings. Some might have gone to buy their first car or change for another, while some move to new cities or towns; others are making the best of a special tantalising meal after a long time. Promises and relationships are established or re-established with special love tokens; some are entering for the first time or relocating back to the Church after some absence and many, many other doings.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Only the heavens can explain or quantify to what extent money has exchanged hands and travels to meet the human demands. The groceries store and manufacturers have to put extra effort to meet the targets of human needs and wants which invariably had taken roots of mans heart during this season. Unfortunately some may not have the economic power in terms of finance, yet they will do anything to see their wishes come to reality. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">And as important as these cravings or uncontrollable desires are to meet some self set standards, they are incomparable with the true reason for the season &#8211; <strong><em>The CAUSE for which Christ came or was born into the world</em></strong>. Christ was born for these causes:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">1 John 4:7-11 </span></strong><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em></strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. <strong>He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him</strong>. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another</span></em><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’’</span></em></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">To commemorate is an act of honour and to keep alive the memory of the love of God towards us because of what Jesus has done. This Christmas – the annual or yearly celebration of the birth of Christ can only be relevant and with virtue if God’s kind of love becomes our centre pace of life. In other words our celebration should not centre only on the food, wine and merriment. The main core heart-of-God why we celebrate Christ is to commemorate God’s LOVE that He has abundantly showered to the world. It is for this Love drive that Christ came into the world. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">If there be any meaningful reason to celebrate, we must take out time from our comfort zone to demonstrate this great love for which we’ve been received and accepted in the beloved of God. When we lift the banners of this love in a genuine heart, we will end the bitterness of life without struggle, it will stop wars and killings on our streets, it will comfort the bereaved and strengthen the Orphans; it will end many hunger and thirst in our neighbourhood and in the world today. It will give clothing and shelter to the less-have or helpless; it will save the lives of children betrayed by their parents; It will stop the marital and relationship breakdowns and decadence. It will silence the terrorist and expose their hidings, networks and evil in our societies. It will silence the enemy of our generation. Gossip, betrayal, kidnappings and others will die a natural death. Love is the only spiritual silence that can keep our enemy at bay while we advance the Gospel of the Lord in our various activities of life.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Jesus was born with love, for love and he died for love. God is love and all who indeed celebrate His son – Lord Jesus Christ – must celebrate Him with a large heart of a true and genuine Love as also in the following scriptures. <strong>1 John 4:6-21 and 5:1-12.</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium; color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Finally: The Mass – The Benediction</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">2 Corinth.13:14</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> <em>‘</em></span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen’</span></em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;">However, as wonderful as Christmas celebration is, be it known today that Christ is enthroned. <strong><em>He is no longer the:</em></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li> <span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>The babe in the      manger</strong></span> </li>
<li><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>The servant to death</strong></span> </li>
<li><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>Neither the limited one nor the Christ on the Cross.</strong></span> </li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong><em>He is now the:</em></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li> <span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>God on the throne </strong>(Seated at the right hand of the Father God)<strong> </strong></span> </li>
<li><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>Omnipotent </strong>(unlimited, all powerful),</span> </li>
<li><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>Omnipresent (</strong>He is present everywhere at the same time<strong>) and</strong></span> </li>
<li><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>Omniscience </strong>(all knowing)</span> </li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;"><strong>(Rev. 1:10-18; 19:16; Matt. 28:18; Phil 3:21)</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;">Let us enthrone him in our heart, crown Him King of kings and Lord of lords and establish His presence in a daily commemoration and celebration and not just in another one year again.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;">I challenge and commend everyone who by virtue of grace have been ignited by the spirit of God’s love in Christ Jesus, to arise with faith and earnestly go and extend the good love of God in your hearts to others – that is the essence of a true living. You can begin from your home and the fire will spread to give hope to someone else near you.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; color: #808000;">I pray you have and enjoy a fabulous and great celebration of this Christmas and may God’s eternal love ever be your portion and prosper your goings during this season as you commemorate and celebrate His love. <strong>2 Corinthians13:14</strong> <em>‘The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen’</em></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The text of <strong>Jeremiah 17:12</strong> reminds us of our first place in creation. A glorious and awesome high throne from the beginning was the place of our sanctuary. We lost that achievement in Eden until our Lord Jesus Christ came – as we celebrate and commemorate Him this month. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The text of <strong>Acts 1:1-3</strong> clearly says that when Christ came, He began to <strong>DO</strong> – achieve, restore, redeem, refresh, re-awaken, – and <strong>TEACH</strong> (show the way), for us to achieve and live triumphantly again. Life is in the doing and it’s time for us to arise in faith in order to achieve our desired goals and be a plus and not a minus to our generation. A mere celebration and commemoration is not enough to live and achieve triumphantly except we understand the place of the rod in the celebration to effect a positive change to our generation. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Beloved Achiever</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">, you are the reason the earth was created. You are the reason while the world is still preserved today. You are the reason the homeless and hopeless can find a home and hope, the failure can find success, the blind can still see, the lame can still walk, the deaf can still hear, the sinner can still find salvation, the un-churched and unloved can still find a church and love in the world today. You are the reason why mankind can still prosper wholly today. Your being born of God is to prove to satan and his cohorts that light is superior to darkness and that the government of this life is no longer in his hands according to the scriptures. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">I make bold to say that without the rod, an achiever is defenceless in any life endeavours. For the Rod is your weapon of instruction and defence in the face of pharaoh. And they are many pharaohs today than ever opposing us in achieving our God given goals and life pursuits – career, relationship, ministry, finances, marriage, entrepreneurship, etc. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The Rod is our God given weapon of stopping the pharaoh (satan and cohorts) activities in our way of progress and significant in life desired goals. The rod is our weapon of instruction in breaking the strongholds of the enemy, making rough places smooth, crooked road straight, exalting every valley and bringing every mountain and hill low to enact the purposes of God in our life, our generation and posterity. <strong>(Isaiah 40:3-5).</strong> The rod is our God given spiritual tool for our life goals warfare. <strong>(2Cor. 10:3-6 amplified)</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">In Exodus, Moses had a mandate to lead and set God’s people free out of Egypt by the privileges he has received of God, but there was an enemy – Pharaoh and his kingdom. And if Moses was to take them out of Egypt and into the promised blessings of God – a land that flowed with milk and honey, he needed help. Moses was a highly educated man in all the wisdom of doing life in Egypt – (Remember, civilisation they say began in Egypt) &#8211; that explains how highly skilled and enlightened Moses was.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Acts 7:22</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">And Moses was learned in all the <strong>wisdom</strong> of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’’</span></em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">In spite of all Moses’ expertise, intellectualism and exposure in Pharaohs house, he could not achieve his earnest dreams to set free his people from the hand of the enemy – Pharaoh. It must have been very worrying when all his education and the wisdom of Egypt could not deliver him nor his people. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">In the same scenario we have seen today in our world our economy melt down in spite of all the 21st century high-tech and skilled economics, politicians, intellectuals, scientist, financiers, technocrats’ etc. The economy situation of the world has invariably affected families, career opportunities, business entrepreneurships, relationships, nations, dreams and aspirations and many others. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">But in Exodus, God now asked Moses, what do you have in your hand, and he answered a rod. And God said to him, by THIS ROD you will DO (create, achieve, bring about) significance – hope, deliverance, healing, salvation, peace, comfort and your desire goals. Know full well that this rod has always been there, but never considered relevant because it’s not what is considered important in human endeavour, while in it was the answer for his questions and desired aspirations and <strong>dreams (1 Cor. 1:18-31)</strong>.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">People today are looking and waiting for signs and wonders to happen so that they can do what they need to do. That’s not how God works; instead God wants us not to wait for it but to use the rod to create, achieve and cause the significance and wonders we desire to come to be. You have to use the rod to stop the enemy and create the life and the world you need to enjoy.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">When God spoke to Moses in <strong>Exodus 4:2, 14</strong> about the rod, it was literally a rod in human perspective. But in God’s own perspective, it was a shadow (concealed) for the reality and revelation that was to come. The scripture indicates in <strong>Isaiah 11:1-2</strong>, that the rod was Jesus who came out of the stem of Jesse through the lineage of David as assuredly recorded in the genealogy scripture of Matthew chapter one verses one to seventeen. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The scripture also makes bold to say in <strong>Psalm 110</strong> that the rod is the strength of Zion (<strong>The Redeemed Church – Hebrews 12:22-24</strong>) and by the rod, the enemy powers are overturned, they are subdued and kept at bay so that we can go living triumphantly, victoriously and achieving our desired goals. Our Lord Christ, been the revealed rod in Moses hand, He can take you to a place of significance and awesome wonders: from poverty to prosperity, from obscurity to popularity, from who are you to how are you. This is the reason for the season celebration. <em>No more room for poverty-luyah, afraid-luyah, fear-luyah etc, but HALLELUYAH</em> in all life circumstances. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Exodus 4:2, 17</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">John 1:1-5, 14</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">In the beginning was <strong>the Word</strong>, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . <strong>. And the Word was made flesh</strong>, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’</span></em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">1 John 5:6-7</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">From the context of the above scriptures you can clearly see that the rod though a concealed shadow in the hands of Moses for the Church in the wilderness became a revealed rod – Christ – for the redeemed Church. The concealed Rod became the revealed Christ which became -The Word. And this Word bears witness in the heavens for the saints with the Tri-une God. What a mystery, that a mere rod in one person’s hand is a living personality living in another person’s heart &#8211; You. What was ordinary became extraordinary in human nature to be born in the flesh. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">And this season all over the world He is been celebrated and his birth is commemorated by all in different styles. Jesus Christ – in His humanity is the Word of God that is, has been and will ever be. Thanks to God that we have the Rod in our hands and hearts today –The Christ, The Word of God, <strong>The Bible &#8211; ‘’Blessed Information Bringing Life Eternal’’</strong>.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Verdana;">By The Rod – Doing The Significant</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Exodus 4:17</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, <strong>A rod,</strong> <strong>And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs</strong></span></em><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’’</span></em></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">2 Cor. 2:14</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> ‘</span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Now thanks be unto God, which <strong>always causeth</strong> us to <strong>triumph in Christ</strong>, and maketh <strong>manifest</strong> the savor of his knowledge by us <strong>in every place</strong></span></em><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’’</span></em></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">For Moses to accomplish and achieve his dreams and aspirations to get Israel from the bondage of Egypt he needed to put the rod to use in order to silence Pharaoh and his cohorts <strong>(Exodus 14:5-22)</strong>. In same like scenario, if we must be triumphant daily and in every place, we must not only know or have the rod but must put it in use. The rod is not for decoration, but to empower us to do significant achievements and goals in life that will enhance our present and give hope and aspirations to posterity. If all you can achieve is what is only common to all men for today, you will soon be out of date and irrelevant to the present and next generation. It’s all about DOING <em>signs</em> (being significant) with the rod.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">If there is any time the world need significant intervention of God, it’s today and in this generation. The believer in Christ, that includes you, is equally mandated to do signs – significant achievements by the rod. The day and time has come and now is, when you have to arise, take the rod &#8211; <strong><em>God’s word</em></strong> &#8211; by faith and put an end to all manifestation of shame, embarrassment, reproach, failure, fear, setbacks, etc and work yourselves into a life of significance.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">Every believer is in a platform of champions, winners, overcomers, more than conquerors, victors etc no matter what state or season of life you are now. The Rod &#8211; the word of God &#8211; is the answer to end that opposition, bondage, harassment and setback placed by pharaoh and his cohorts in your life, which tends to cripple your aspirations and desired goals in life. God’s word is the talisman, the medicine to your mountains and valleys and circumstances affecting you at the moment. Obedience to the use of the Rod as Moses did will end the stand still and same circle pains; will turn your shame to fame, your disappointment to appointment, failure to success, hopelessness to hope, fear to faith and test and trials to testimony. You can be significant</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Verdana;">Finally</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Isaiah 8:18</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Behold, <strong>I and the children</strong> whom the LORD hath given me are for <strong>signs and for wonders</strong> in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in <strong>mount</strong><strong> Zion</strong></span></em><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’’</span></em></strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Romans 8:19</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">‘’</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God</span></em><em><span style="font-family: Verdana;">’’</span></em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;">The scriptures above are great prophesies which sum it up that all in Zion will together with the Lord live a triumphant life of significance in all areas of life <em>– spiritually, mentally, socially, physically, financially</em> etc. <strong>(Luke 2:52).</strong> Also that creation awaits all God’s children to demonstrate and manifest who they really are. Hence as you celebrate, commemorate the Lord Christ of Christmas, the reason for the season; it will be greatly significant if you go the extra more mile to make a difference from the usual routine. Its time to tap in and draw the triumph from Christ’s birth, get hooked on the rod to make and live an amazing, glorious, awesome and a significant life that no one has and will ever live because you are UNIQUE!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #808000;"> </span></p>
